dulu aku ada havoc pasal cablenut ni..so sapa2 dah donlot cablenut tu jgn uninstal dulu..coz setelah berhempas pulas,aku berjaya dpt gak manual tuk setting cablenut ni.. ..tuk performance yg lebih baik aku aku syorkan baca manual ni page 271-275...bc bebetul sebelum wat aper2..ikut step dia bg tu;)

manual ni berguna tuk setting performace,securities&customizing your system pc korang khusus window XP...so,x rugi donlot..tp kena baca lebihlah..ilmukan baik tuk pc kita...

Lets just keep all that &quot;Faster PC&quot; and &quot;Performance Guide&quot; in one topic, so we don't have to dig up the www to find out how to tweak your computer.

Here are a few

IN WINDOWS XP ONLY: Go to Control Panel &gt; System &gt; Advanced Tab &gt; Settings ( Performance part ) &gt; SELECT ADJUST FOR BEST PERFORMANCE or uncheck the effects you don't want/need.

ALL: In BIOS, go to a section that is for advanced/boot setting, or something like that ( varies from motherboard to motherboard ) and:
- - - - System Performance: set this to TURBO (This is basic)
- - - - Full Screen Logo/Loading Screen: set this to DISABLE (Will save you a couple of seconds)
- - - - ^ ^ ^ ^ Look for an other one like this one and set it to DISABLE, one is for motherboard screen and the other one is for the Windows XP loading screen

ALL: Remove unwanted startup processes by disabling them from the registry or the msconfig.exe app
-=-=-=-=ALTERNATIVE ADVANCED METHOD:

This is a &quot;guide&quot; / script to create a time delayed processe(s) starter script file ( vbs ) so you aren't loading a gazziliion things at the same time:

-Go to your startup folder ( XP&gt; C:\Documents and Settings\[ ACCOUNT ]\Start Menu\Programs\Startup , other C:\Programs Files\Startup or C:\Windows\Startup )

-Right-Click &gt; New &gt; Text Document

-Now the advanced part...

-Copy and paste:

Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject(&quot;WScript.Shell&quot;)
WScript.Sleep [TIME IN MILLISECONDS]
WshShell.Run chr(34) &amp; &quot;[FULL PATH TO EXE]&quot; [;] &amp; chr(34) &amp; &quot;\[OPTIONAL SLASH COMMAND]&quot;
Set WshShell = Nothing

-Why chr(34) ? Unsure, but augment it if your putting more than 2 slash commands or if the path is long ( i.e C:\f\f\f\f\f\f\f\f\f\f\asdsad\das\ads\ads\das\da\ads\ads\das\das\asd\das\das\das\das\asd\ads\dsa\das )
-Ask M!scro$oft if you want more info on this, i asked once, and the guy didn't know

-Then when your done, do Save As...
-Save as Type: All files
-Type in a name ( i usually use the format processname-time.vbs )
-add .vbs to the end of the name ( killini-30.VBS )
-Save it
It should now load when windows starts. smile.gif

ALL: Remove unneeded Desktop icons to quicken startup since they require some ressources to retreive and load the icon image

ALL: Keep AT THE VERY LEAST 25% of free HDD space on your OS Drive or else there will be preformance decrease

TIP: ONE PROCESS IS BETTER THAN TWO; Like in Firefox ( tabbed browsing ). I recall in the Folder Options, there is an option to create new process for each folder; BAD THING, each one will be using base RAM+PF plus the RAM it would normally use, so don't select this unless you happen to have frequent folder lockup that will terminate your GUI when ending the folder's process ( explorer.exe )( No taskbar, nothing, only wallpaper, auto restart in Windows XP or start the process manually C:\Windows\explorer.exe )

I've also got an online guide to tweak your PC and apps and a bunch of stuff, might uploadit to rapidshare
There are some progrmas that will let you change stuff that would normally be a pain to do ( Registry edidting [ mostly long to browse to the key ] ) Like X-Sxtxx xrx ( Im not doing any advert. , pm if you really wanna know : / )

Anyway thats all i can think about for the moment, maybe sticky this if it gets some good input.

bab ni memang nak payah skit coz aku pun lemah bi..huhuh:whistle: x der cr lain melainkan ko tgk kamus...aku pun tgk kamus ak...tp skarang aku x pki cable nut dah...aku pki cfsss apa ntah...nak kata laju x jugak..lembab cam besa gak...huhuhu:blink:

Mmg yer sgt-sgt... kebanyakkan user yg ikut fungkurs-network nih mmg kalau bab share tak der lsg nampak sekalipun.. apatah nak review tutorial software.
kalau bab komplen mmg ramai.. yg request satu hal ..kalau request agak lambat.. dikata kat cni takder org..kat cni tader nak membantu.

p/s Bagus juga bertanya step by step daripada komplen yg sendiri lsg x tau apa mender yg dia tanyakan . Yg betulnya ada mender-mender mcm ni lagi ramai mau register sbg ahli , aiii... drpd usha Forum yg malas nak register. Downloads dan tutp PC .Jimat karen.
